White Bathing Suits

Is it possible to keep a white bikini from getting grungy?

I'd love to get a white bikini, but I sunbathe a lot at the beach. I'm afraid sweatmarks and sand and stuff will get stains on it, especially the butt. Has anyone had one and managed to keep it clean? Thanks! I meant from sitting, you silly lizard ;p

1. Yes. Avoid eating Mexican food before wearing it.
2. I've never had any problems with my white bikini. If it gets grungy just bleach it in the wash......
3. It's pretty hard to stain bathing suits unless you don't wash them! Just be careful, and jump in the pool/ocean right away if you get something really nasty on it! Also, Oxyclean works wonders on tough stains.
4. Don't bleach it...Bleach ruins swimsuits by breaking down the spandex which allows it to stretch. Rinse your swimsuit immediately after taking it off in clean water from the tap ( especially after being in a chlorinated pool, no matter what the color. It helps extend the life of the suit. Wash the suit regularly in the washing machine with other white clothes in a warm cycle to which you have added 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide. Hang dry.
5. Every so often if you see it getting a little dirty.. bleach it! Get a white bathing suit that is good with bleaching. =] victoria's secret has great white bathing suits! =]
